Vijaykanth launches 'Captain TV' logo

Like all top politicians in Tamil Nadu, Vijaykanth Captain TV is going to have his own Tamil television channel which will be managed by his brother-in-law LK Sudhish.

The logo of Captain TV was launched on Jan 14th by the popular actor and DMDK leader Vijaykanth.

L.K. Sudhish, managing director of Captain TV said that the trial telecast will kick-start from March 15 to April 13 while the complete airing of 24hrs will commence from April 14. All the programs are designed to be innovative and interesting. The Channel is broadcasted through INSAT 4B Satellite.

Soundarya Rajinikanth marrying Ashwin

We all read about Soundarya Rajinikanth marrying Ashwin, a Chennai-based young entrepreneur, soon. But not many of us have the idea on the looks of the Superstar's second son-in-law (except some blur pictures appeared on the media).

An engineering graduate, Ashwin did his higher studies in the United States.

He is currently looking after his father’s construction business. Betrothal for this love-cum-arranged marriage will take place in Chennai on February 17.

‘Sura’ scenes also leaked?

One Flop Film Leaves her Jobless !

After her film "London Dreams" failed to click at the box office, there is no work for Asin Thottumkal in the Hindi film industry.

"I have nothing (no films) as of now. All that I can reveal is that future projects are under production and I can't talk about them until the producers give me a go- ahead," Asin told reporters

The actress was in the capital to announce the 55th edition of the Filmfare Awards. She, however, assured that she will be seen more in movies this year.

Asin, who won the best debutant (female) award at Filmfare last year for her performance in "Ghajini", kept the media waiting for two hours as her flight was delayed due to the fog in the capital. But she was extremely apologetic for the delay.

The multi-lingual actress was quite at ease when asked about the qualities that she would seek in her man.

"I don't have a check list for my dream guy. But definitely think integrity of character is a very important quality. I am not a person who values physical appearances more than how the person is at heart," she said.

Lokesh, after returning from the US where he obtained an MBA from the Stanford University, has been playing an active role in managing the family owned Heritage Company. Sources said he is interested in news media and acquired the low-rated StudioN and had appointed his friend in the US, Mr Abheeshth, as the CEO. Mr Lokesh has gone in for a total makeover of the channel by hiring fresh faces and bidding adieu to some existing staffers. He is also planning to change the name of the channel.
